Setting Goals on the Slopes, a tale of Team Building

Author:

Stockdale Design Group heads to Salt Lake, combining some team building, meetings, a conference, and fun – what other way would we have together?

We started at the Solitude Resort, which was a great choice for us to enjoy team building together. The Moonbeam ski lodge was a nice place for me to get some work done and I could see the girls ski down the last hill toward me. Too fun, it was so great to see them giggling all the way down that last stretch. As the day progressed they ventured higher and higher up the mountain. This area offers several options for all level of skier. Sking can make for a successful TEAM BUILDING experience.

A few long runs will work up an appetite. Lunch is our meeting time – The Honeycomb Grill was the perfect spot for our recap of havoc on the slopes – increasing our team building time and lasting memories. The meeting must move on to it’ s purpose now.

What are our goals for the second quarter?  Here are a few of our second quarter goals:

*Focus on creating a consistent website with brand development.

*WorkbenchCon – a.YouTube channel upload videos. b.Continue through year to connect #WBCmakers and brands via social and program. c.Develop CURATE. d.Develop BUILD like a BEAST concept. That is a plate full for our #WBCmakers – so much love there!

Fun Side Notes:

I ordered a charcuterie platter with red wine. Maddison was fish tacos and water. Olivia just wanted a beer. She knew about a local brewer, Wasatch Brewery – Honeycomb Grill carried the GhostRider…good choice, Olivia! We all shared the Blackberry Buckle and tried the beer – this was a great pairing too – it was so delicious, I had to come home found the beer and recreated my gluten free version:Blackberry Cobbler with Blackberry Buckle are paired with beer. Berry Cobbler and Beer make a great combination. The beer we paired with the blackberry cobbler is Wasatch Ghost Rider IPA. Blackberry Buckle and Wasatch IPA are a good pair

A few more runs down the mountain ended our team build session. Tomorrow we face our first conference together, another team building adventure.

Next couple of days – we are off to learn, be inspired and of course, laugh alot. Conferences are so good for the soul. This is one of the reasons I enjoy hosting the DIY conferences. The energy is crazy, conferences just PUMP you UP – what a great way to spend time with the Stockdale Design gals.

What classes did we take during the conference, you ask….well let me tell you what we jumped into. Email Marketing, Party Hosting with Sponsors, Excell Organization, Video Techniques and so much more filled the weekend.

We are so glad you popped by SD Studio to see what we are up to, What are some of your 2nd quarter goals?
